This is a pan-fandom game, but due to the nature of the plot, the joining process will be a little different. To join each character must have a journal with an OOC, screened contact post, IC Contact post, AND an alternate history explaining their history since arriving in Westview. The history can be in any format the player chooses, but the post must consist of a three-paragraph history detailing their life in the town of Westview. Memories of their old lives will slowly begin to return one month after their acceptance in the game. Those memories will return in a multitude of different ways and at different speeds for each character. For some it can be dreams, for others, it might manifest in the form of deja vu. If you have an idea of a way for a character to regain their memories but need help working it out please don't hesitate to contact the mods. In addition, NO character may gain all of their memories instantly; each character MUST take up to two months to regain ALL of the memories of their old life, but longer would be preferred. After all the two lives battling with one another and some characters not wanting to remember their old lives due to traumas is part of the premise of the game. Also once a character has regained ALL of their memories from that life they will still have the memories of their life in Westview, so the two will conflict inside their head.

Rp Etiquette~ Please respect your fellow players. Follow the Golden Rules of RP; don't god mod, don't harass players for lines, and don't cross the ic/OOC line. Bullying and fandom or character bashing WILL NOT be tolerated in this game; if a player is caught doing either of these things they will receive a warning and on the second offense they will be removed. This is a game and we are all here to have fun and enjoy playing our characters, so please just be kind, and should a dispute arise that can't be resolved civilly please contact the mods. All fandom characters are welcome unless their creators/authors have expressed that they don't wish for them to be. Each Player may only play up to six characters in this game and in addition no player may play two characters that are related or canonically shipped with one another. After all what fun is it to play both characters? That is what fanfiction is for.

Upon Acceptance to the game all characters are required to do two forms of IC activity in a one month period. If a character is accepted after the 15th of the month they are only required to do one form of activity for that month only. By the last day of the month all players are required to comment to the Activty Tracker located in the mod journal with the links to their activity for that month.

There will be game wide plots at least once a month if not more often; participation in these aren't mandatory but they are greatly encouraged.

There will be a friends button and journals will be linked to each other and the communities as well. A big part of the activity will be keeping the friends list up to date, by using the friend's button after every set of adds.

There will be four subcommunities to this game and they will be as follows;
Westviewnetcom: This community will be for public, networking posts only! Filtered post between only two characters should be reserved for IC contact posts. Group filters are allowed as long as they consist of three or more characters.

Westviewlogs: This community will be for both private and group threads. Long threads and any threads with questionable content should be placed behind cut tags and trigger warnings should be included.

Westviewoutoc: This community will be used for mainly mod announcements, but players can also use this community to announce hiatus's to the entire group if they wish.

Westviewlines: This community will be used for plotting out IC connections between characters in their new lives. This is the only community that players will be permitted to join prior to acceptance to the game. In addition, any current member seen as not being a member of this community or having it friended is eligible for removal. We feel that current members being aware of new characters coming into the game is essential to remaining active and plotting. That is the reason membership is a requirement.

The mods reserve the right to add to or change these rules at anytime.
